The Knowledge: VW misses the summer, while BMW and Toyota play the green card

It seems as though a day barely passes recently without a large car manufacturer announcing their latest product to launch them into the ‘green’ motoring market. Environmental and sustainable motoring is the order of the day when it comes to enticing customers to take up new car finance deals.

However, two manufacturers which seem to consistently back hybrid technology are Toyota and BMW. This week, both car makers announced new models to tempt environmentally conscious customers in the direction of their cars on finance. Toyota are also venturing into the realm of the all-electric car, which will be available from 2012.
