Range Rover Sport: the leader of a revolution
When Land Rover released the Range Rover Sport in 2005, they stumbled across what would begin a whole new market sector. Large, powerful, affordable (particularly when purchased via a Range Rover Sport finance package), and presented in an almost coupe-esque body, Land Rover’s new baby had taken the world by storm.
This would, of course, result in competition being developed by manufacturers such as Ford, BMW and even Porsche. However, none of these competitors can provide the same quality and value for money – particularly with Range Rover Sport lease deals making this accomplished off-roader surprisingly affordable.
Inside, you will find beautifully stitched, supportive leather seats, which give you a tremendous view of the road from that raised seating position. You also get a big, off-road style dash with retro grab handles and big, chunky switches, perfectly complementing that squat, purposeful exterior styling. With a Range Rover Sport leasing plan, you will get all this, plus its advanced four wheel drive system and sonorous supercharged engine.
If the Sport’s tank-like structure (and therefore fantastic safety credentials) aren’t enough to tempt you into a Range Rover Sport lease deal, then perhaps its chassis and terrific engine might be of interest – 5 litres in displacement, in either naturally aspirated or supercharged form, it performs admirably and sounds epic.
In supercharged form, the Sport is capable of sprinting from 0-60 in under 6 seconds, which isn’t bad for genuine sports car, let alone a big 2 ton ‘pretender’. With a Range Rover Sport leasing plan, you’ll be getting a car with enough torque to make any overtaking an almost subconscious effort, which means that motorway journeys are a real pleasure.
You should be aware that the Range Rover Sport does suffer from an unusually stiff ride for such a large car, however as this is directly responsible for its eager handling, we can let it off. Also, running such a large car with a large engine will be thirsty, so prepare for expensive weekly fill-ups. Besides that, this is a top class, sporting, off-road 4×4.
