Mitsubishi: combining reliability and speed
Mitsubishi was established in 1870 and played a central role in the economic development of Japan throughout the 1950s and 60s. Today, they produce over 1.3 million cars per year and enjoy a reputation for building robust, reliable and sporty cars.
Much of this is due to their participation in the World Rally Championship over the last 30 years and winning numerous World Rally titles with the Lancer Evo. This reputation is a great incentive for getting behind the wheel of a Mitsubishi – particularly when you factor in the affordability of Mitsubishi lease deals.
Before you proceed in signing up for a Mitsubishi finance plan, you’ll probably want to know that your new car will be a safe bet. For a number of years, Mitsubishi has fared strongly in the JD Power survey, which rates ownership experience for every car currently on sale.
In 2010, Mitsubishi came third in the What Car? 10 most reliable manufacturers list, which should give prospective buyers some peace of mind – and another reason to consider a Mitsubishi hire purchase deal.
Of course, it’s owing to Mitsubishi’s successful forays in world rally and the Paris-Dakar race – a globally renowned test of a car’s speed and reliability over huge distances – that the brand has become such a hit with motoring enthusiasts.
And, with a glowing results sheet of wins under the Mitsubishi belt, it’s a fair assumption that a Mitsubishi finance package will get you a car that can withstand a whole lot of punishment.
The world-famous Lancer Evo was a result of Mitsubishi’s rallying exploits, and brings to the road its advanced four wheel drive system, turbocharged 2 litre engine and race-ready bucket seats.
This is a pretty intimidating vehicle, and anyone thinking about taking up a Mitsubishi hire purchase deal with a Lancer Evo in mind must drive one first, as although they boast supercar-rivalling performance, much like a roller coaster ride, those with a weak heart need not apply.
