If you are interested in a prestige compact executive car, you are probably already looking at leasing new BMW 3 Series models. Over the years the 3 Series has almost made this sector its own. Incredibly, the 3 series has outsold the Ford Mondeo in the UK, which is even more surprising when you consider the supposed mass-market appeal of the Ford car. It is easy to see why the BMW 3 Series is such a success. It marries performance and a great driving experience to a prestige image and does so with a decent amount of practicality thrown in.  (more…)

BMW 3 Series GT confirmed, latest safety ratings, and Audi reveals new A3

Pictures leaked to the press this week confirm that BMW is planning to launch a GT version of its popular 3 Series. The 3 Series has long been BMW’s best seller, proving to be a big car finance favourite.

The GT will be a new variant on the 3 Series theme, coming with a greater ride height than its 3 Series stable mates, along with beefed-up styling features like flared wheel arches and shorter overhangs. Like the 5 Series GT, the 3 Series GT should offer greater legroom than the normal baby BMW, and will also come with novel touches such as a two piece tailgate.
